There are two types of budgets in Planigo, the summary and the detailed version.
The summary budget is for a specific task such as processing. The detailed budget, unlike the summary budget, takes into consideration every step of the process and the estimated time allotted for each.
Let’s look at a review mandate as an example. In this type of mandate, several work sections must be done such as producing the mandate letter, determining relative importance, customer knowledge, cash, creditors and so on.
For each section of the mandate, you must indicate the time required to produce that section and the entire time for the sections which will give you the budgeted time to produce the mandate. In short, unlike the summary budget, you will have the details by section of the time allotted and will be able to follow the smooth running of the mandate.
With a summary budget for other software, you know that you are at 50% of the time to finish but you don’t know if you are ahead or behind in terms of specific stages of the mandate.

You may choose the automatic or manual mode. In automatic mode, Planigo automatically manages workflow by distributing tasks for a mandate to the employees’ work calendars.

This way, you will reduce delivery time since no human intervention will slow down the workflow process. However, each step depends on the employee’s intention to end it, because it is he who controls the start of the mandate.

This can lead to longer delivery times, often due to procrastination. In manual mode, you control all the production steps of the mandate since you are the one determining the work schedules of the employees who will be working on the file.

You set the start and end date of a mandate and employees must only follow the tasks that appear in their work schedules.
You are in complete control and Planigo has the tools that will allow you to easily and quickly perform the work.

Nothing is easier with Planigo. Several options are available to you to obtain this information. In a “Future Mandate” table, Planigo shows you all the mandates not received to date and you can filter the received mandates 6 months before their year-end.
In the “Active Mandates” file, you can do the same thing by using the filters to identify late clients.

Communications are made by messaging in Planigo. The input box identifies the concerned customer, the subject and the urgency of the situation. These messages are saved in the customer’s file and appear on the recipient’s computer screen once sent as well as on their cell phone, if this option is enabled.

The Mandate Budget Tracking table allows you to see the revenues of the last month and the annual year-to-date, the results in relation to the sales objectives, the status of accounts receivable, the evolution of the work in progress for the entire company and per customer if desired, the cancellation rate of accounts and credit notes.
The Billing report shows the costs, budgets, variances, and billed value of each task performed.
You will also see the projected and realized ratios of fees on actual costs. You will have all the information on hand to approve or change the billing.
